With The Youth Peace Ambassador you have an extraordinary opportunity to discover how to experience true inner peace, transform challenging relationships and heal social wounds. These are people, who, like you, are committed to creating a life which radiates positive peace and is contributing to a world without violence at any level.
The Youth Peace Ambassadors Project is a long term training course, The project combines residential training, distance learning which promotes the role of young people in peace-building activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue dialogue through a network!
We believe that nobody should try to change the world on their own. It’s much less effective and much less fun. That’s why we’re building a network of driven professionals and ambassadors, whether individuals or organizations, so that together we can reach even more people, share even more expertise and have an even greater impact.
Our ambassadors come from all walks of life. Anyone who is willing and interested to be the Ambassador is eligible for applying. We believe that nobody should try to change the world on their own. Youth Peace Ambassadors should learn new skills to deal with conflict in non-violent ways and create a community that lives by a credo of non-violence and multicultural appreciation. This however must be done with the present crop of people whom we have termed as the leaders of ‘yesterday’ given the necessary chance and creating the opportunity for the youths to act with their enthusiast.

Youth Peace Ambassadors can become peace ambassadors of their respective countries, promoting exchange programmes in education, culture, science and technology, sports and games and in tourism promotions to link all the youth of the region and the world in the pursuit and maintenance of peace and conflict.

The Camp provides local and international youth the opportunity to have intercultural experience, integrated understanding on tolerance, multiculturalism and living together in peace, through a valuable and meaningful 6 days program in a beautiful country!
The general aim is: To Increase the knowledge and understanding about Intercultural communication and cooperation, and bring various teaching methods for transferring that knowledge to the societe
More specific objectives coming out from the general aim are:
To recognize the unique importance of each culture, emphasizing shared values and pluralistic identity;
To increase intercultural awareness about different communication styles and approaches in multicultural areas by exchanging views and experiences;
To increase their understanding on how stereotypes and prejudices are created;
To promote tolerance, equality and solidarity among different cultures, nationalities, ethnic and religious groups, etc. According to the Human Rights principals;
To develop positive attitudes and behaviors for less discrimination and more positive intercultural relationships;
To plan new projects and activities about intercultural learning which will be implemented in their communities and organizations;

The fee will be 300 EUR which includes:
— food (3 meals per day + coffee breaks);
— and many social activities.
